Poems Wanted For Contest Sponsored By Keillor's Bookstore

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — It's time to get your rhymes in to the annual poetry contest sponsored by Garrison Keillor's St. Paul bookstore.

Keillor, the host of "A Prairie Home Companion," is offering $5,000 in prize money to the seven winners.

"Dear You" is the theme of the third annual Common Good Books Poetry Contest. Entries should be in the form of a letter to a living person.

The contest is open to anyone living in the U.S. Entries must be a single poem and must be original work and previously unpublished.

Only one entry is allowed per person. Entries must be mailed to Common Good Books at 38 South Snelling Avenue, St. Paul, Minnesota 55101, and must be postmarked no later than April 4.

Winners will be announced April 19. Keillor will attend.
