Police: Woman Struck, Killed By Van In Plymouth

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A woman has died after a mini van jumped the curb and hit her.

The crash occurred Monday evening at County Road 101 and Eighth Avenue North in Plymouth.

Authorities say a woman was driving the van northbound on 101 when she left the roadway, struck a women on the sidewalk and hit a church sign.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was taken into custody.

The accident is under investigation.
