Convicted Child Predator Sentenced To 15 Years For Porn

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- An Eden Prairie man with a long history of abusing children is going to prison for 15 years for having an arsenal of child pornography.

Sixty-eight-year-old Terrance Michael Pick was sentenced Wednesday, according to the United States Attorney's Office.

Investigators say Pick had thousands of child porn images in his possession, as well as about 200 videos.

Pick was convicted of second-degree manslaughter in 1974 in Stearns County after inflicting fatal internal injuries to a child.

He was also convicted in 1988 of sexually assaulting his 7-year-old niece and her 8-year-old friend in Wright County.

Pick will undergo 15 years of supervised release after his 15-year prison sentence.

The FBI, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, the Meeker County Sheriff's Office and Eden Prairie Police all assisted in the investigation.
