'U' Police Release Images Of Person Of Interest In Graffiti Incident

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- University of Minnesota police have released surveillance images of a person of interest in the vandalized Muslim Students Association sign discovered Thursday morning.

The U's Muslim Students Association's mural was painted over with the word "ISIS," the Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations said. The vandalized mural was painted over Thursday afternoon.

CAIR-MN called for the vandalism to be investigated as a hate crime.

Now, police are asking anyone with information about the person in the images to call 612-624-COPS or email police@umn.edu.
