Penn Cycle To Become Freewheel Bikes

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Twin Cities staple is closing its doors after serving the cycling community for more than six decades.

Penn Cycle held a goodbye ceremony at its Richfield location Monday night.

On Friday, all of its six locations will reopen up as Freewheel Bikes.

The owner of Penn Cycle thanked customers for 61 years of business.
