Pedestrian Struck By Green Line In St. Paul

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A man is in the hospital Monday after being struck by a Green Line light-rail train.

It happened just after 1 p.m. at the intersection of University Avenue and Chatsworth Street in St. Paul, Minn.

Metro Transit police say the man was illegally walking between the east- and westbound tracks when he was hit by a train.

Police say he's expected to recover from his injuries.
