Pedestrian Hit By Train In Minnetonka

MINNETONKA, Minn. (WCCO) -- One person is hospitalized after being hit by a train in Minnetonka, according to a BNSF Railway official.

The official says a pedestrian was struck along the tracks at about 3 p.m., in a part of the railway that is not a designated crossing. Minnetonka Police and BNSF officials responded to the scene, and the injured person was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis.
