Patrol: Motorcyclist Killed After Colliding With SUV In Southern Minnesota

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A motorcyclist died Sunday after a collision with an SUV in southern Minnesota.

The Minnesota State Patrol says the crash happened shortly before 3 p.m. on Highway 52 in Goodhue County, northwest of Zumbrota. There, a GMC SUV was traveling northbound on Highway 57 approaching Highway 52. The motorcyclist was traveling southbound on Highway 52 when the collision occurred between the two vehicles in the southbound lane of Highway 52 near 415th Street.

Killed was 25-year-old Nolan Osborne, of Arlington. He died at the scene. The driver of the SUV, a 40-year-old Wanamingo man, was unharmed.

Road conditions were dry and alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash.
