Patrol: Increased Enforcement For 'Move Over' Law

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- More State Patrol officers will likely be seen Monday on Minnesota roads.

The State Patrol says it's increasing enforcement of the state's "move over" law.

The law is named for trooper Ted Foss, who was hit and killed by a passing vehicle 15 years ago on Interstate-90.

The law requires drivers to move a lane away from a stopped emergency vehicle.
