Patrol: 1 Dead After SUV Collides With 2 Motorcycles Head-On

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A passenger on a motorcycle died Saturday in the east metro after an SUV collided with two motorcycles head-on.

The State Patrol says the crash happened just after 3 p.m. on Highway 120 in Oakdale.

The 22-year-old driver of the SUV overcorrected on the highway and hit the two motorcycles.

Tonia Stocking, of Cottage Grove, died in the crash, the patrol said.

The driver of the motorcycle she was on suffered serious injuries.

The passenger on the other motorcycle suffered a non-life-threatening injury.

A section of the highway was closed after the crash. It has since reopened.
