Patrol: 2 Die After RV Collides With Car In Chippewa Co.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Two elderly women died Saturday night in Chippewa County when their sedan collided with an RV.

The State Patrol says the crash happened just after 9:20 p.m. near Montevideo. Road conditions were wet at the time.

A Buick LaCrosse was going north on Highway 29, and a Ford RV was going east on Highway 40, the patrol said. The two vehicles collided at an intersection.

The two women in the Buick died. The State Patrol has not released their names, but said both victims were in their 80s.

All seven people in the RV suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
