Parking Restrictions To Be Enforced In St. Paul

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- All the snow this winter is creating more headaches for drivers, and now St. Paul is putting parking restrictions into effect citywide.

Drivers can only park on the odd-numbered side of all residential streets. St. Paul officials say the streets are getting too narrow because of all the snow, and emergency vehicles are having trouble getting through.

Warning tickets will be issued starting Saturday for vehicles violating the restrictions. On Monday, vehicles will be towed.

Parking restrictions are already in place in Minneapolis.
