Owner: Mudslide Falls On Historic Minn. Brewery

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The owner of a historic brewery in flood-ravaged southern Minnesota says a mudslide came down Thursday and crashed into the building's apartments.

Kevin Breeggemann, the owner of the building, said that it dates back to the 1860s. He and others were trying to reopen a brewery there.

According to the brewery blog, they had hoped to brew in the building starting this spring. It would have been the fist time in 80 years that beer had been made there.
