N.D. PSC Hold Hearing On Proposed $5M Oil Pipeline

WATFORD CITY, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota regulators are holding a public hearing in Watford City on a proposed $5 million oil pipeline in McKenzie County.

Plains All American Pipeline has applied for a permit for the Johnsons Corner to Dakota Access Pipeline Project, a 3.5-mile long, 24-inch diameter crude pipeline.

It would have a maximum capacity of 150,000 barrels per day, with a normal flow of about one-third that.

The Public Service Commission hearing is scheduled for 11 a.m. Central time Monday at Teddy's Residential Suites in Watford City.
