Officials: Teen Dies After Being Pulled From Plymouth Pool
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 17-year-old died Friday evening after he was pulled from an indoor pool at an apartment complex in Plymouth.
Benedict Richardson was unresponsive when his father pulled him from the pool at an apartment complex on the 15000 block of 37th Avenue North at about 7 p.m., the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office said.
Both Richardson's father and first responders performed CPR on him.
Crews brought him to North Memorial Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead shortly after 8 p.m.
Plymouth is about 15 miles northwest of Minneapolis.
