Officials Resume Search For 2 Missing In Lincoln Co.

LAKE BENTON, Minn. (AP) — Authorities resumed their search Wednesday for two people missing while ice fishing on a lake in southwestern Minnesota.

Authorities used air boats, various search techniques and special sonar devices throughout the day.

Lincoln County sheriff's officials say there's evidence their vehicle may have broken through the ice near Norwegian Creek Campground north of the community of Lake Benton.

Twenty-nine-year-old Brianna Jean Thooft and 54-year-old Bradley Allen Lund were last heard from early Sunday when they apparently left a fish house on Lake Benton.

Crews will continue their search Thursday morning.
