MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A police officer suffered minor injuries after a rollover crash Friday morning in Anoka and a squad car was totaled, authorities say.

Authorities say the crash happened at about 9:33 a.m. in Anoka on 4th Avenue at the north end of the bridge over Highway 10. Authorities say the squad car hit the end of a concrete barrier rail of the bridge and rolled.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash and the officer was the only occupant of the squad car. The officer was taken to a hospital for evaluation after suffering minor injuries. The police squad appears to be totaled.

Anoka police have requested the Anoka County Sheriff's Office to investigate what led up to the crash.
