Obama To Honor WNBA Champion Lynx At White House

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — President Barack Obama will honor the defending WNBA champion Minnesota Lynx at the White House next week.

The Lynx swept through the playoffs last year on the way to their second title in three seasons.

Minnesota is off to a fast start this season. The Lynx are undefeated in their first seven games and are looking to improve to 8-0 when they face the Seattle Storm on Friday night.

The White House ceremony honoring the Lynx will be held Thursday.
