Northern Minnesota Man Gets Nearly 20 Years For Abusing Girl

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A northern Minnesota man was sentenced to nearly 20 years in prison for sexually abusing a child over several years.

The U.S. Attorney's Office District of Minnesota says that 25-year-old Kory Lussier, of Red Lake, was sentenced Friday to 235 months in prison followed by five years of supervised release.

According to investigators, Lussier repeatedly abused a girl between 2014 and 2020. At the time, the victim was between seven and 13 years old.
