Northbound I-35W Ramp Reopens In Bloomington

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Getting around the Twin Cities has gotten a little easier.

The northbound ramp on Interstate 35W at 94th Street in Bloomington reopened Saturday morning.

The ramp had been closed since late July for reconstruction.

Southbound ramps will remain closed through the middle of next month.

Crews are replacing guardrails on the bridge as well as reconstructing the bridge deck, ramps and approaches.

The $4 million project is expected to extend the life of the 94th Street Bridge and allow better access for pedestrians.
