Authorities ID Man Found Dead In North Minneapolis Apartment
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities have identified the man found dead in a north Minneapolis apartment Thursday morning.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner identified the victim as 50-year-old Michael Whitelaw.
Police responded to a call from the building manager of an apartment building on Glenwood and Knox avenues around 9:30 a.m. Thursday.
In a ground floor apartment, police found Whitelaw dead of an apparent gunshot wound.
The medical examiner said Whitelaw died of multiple gunshot wounds. The manner of death is listed as homicide.
Minneapolis police are still investigating.
