North Dakota Man Facing Charges In Fatal Crash In Minnesota

MOORHEAD, Minn. (AP) — A 29-year-old man is facing charges in a fatal 2013 crash that killed one person near the border of North Dakota and Minnesota.

Robin Olson of Wheatland, North Dakota, is charged with criminal vehicular homicide and criminal vehicular operation. Reports say he was driving when his vehicle collided with a minivan on U.S. Highway 75 south of Moorhead, Minnesota.

Olson and two passengers in his vehicle were ejected. One of the passengers, 25-year-old Justin Olson of Wheatland, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other passenger, Allen Burcham of Fargo, suffered numerous injuries to his head, spine, brain and lungs. The minivan's driver wasn't seriously injured.

A criminal complaint says Robin Olson's blood-alcohol level was .015 when the crash occurred.

Online court records don't list an attorney for Olson.
