North Branch Massage Spa Target Of Prostitution Raid

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - A North Branch massage parlor was the target of a prostitution raid on Tuesday.

One of the employees of Asian Massage Spa was arrested. Xirong Chen, 48, of New York, was charged with felony second-degree solicitation and promotion of prostitution.

A search warrant had been issued for the massage parlor as part of an investigation that started in early February.

The North Branch Police Department had received complaints about how many men were coming and going to the business, and police found advertising on Backpage.com featuring "sexually provocative photographs of Asian women wearing lingerie," according to a press release.

The search warrant was executed by the East Central Drug and Violent Offender Task Force, the North Branch Police Department and the Chisago County Sheriff's Office.
