No One Injured In Fire Near St. Paul Courthouse

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A street in downtown St. Paul, Minn. was closed off for at least an hour Friday afternoon after a fire broke out near the courthouse.

Around 1 p.m. firefighters responded to a call for a fire at the Pioneer Endicott Building at 4th Street and Robert Street in downtown St. Paul.

According to firefighters, some people were moving into an apartment on the 16th floor and placed some items on top of the stove during the move.

Firefighters said that the stove was turned on somehow during the move and the items caught on fire.

Firefighters were able to put the fire out quickly.

Robert Street was closed off between 5th and 4th Streets for about an hour.

No one was hurt.
