Meanwhile, hit-and-miss showers will continue through the evening Tuesday.
Wednesday and Thursday will both feature highs in the 60s, and more showers.
Much of northern Minnesota, as well as eastern Minnesota as far south as Fergus Falls, is under a winter storm watch from Wednesday night through Friday afternoon.
In addition to the snow, there's also severe thunderstorms possible for the Twin Cities and southeastern Minnesota before the cold air arrives.
