NEXT Weather: Mild and sunny Wednesday, before several days of rain chances

NEXT Weather: 10 p.m. report from April 25, 2023

MINNEAPOLIS -- Wednesday is looking to be the nicest day of the week, with sunshine, light wind and highs approaching 60 degrees.

Rain will roll across the state and the Twin Cities overnight Thursday, but it won't be a washout and nothing severe is expected.

There will be a fair amount of dry time on Thursday, with highs reaching into the mid 60s in the metro. Parts of far-southern Minnesota could break 70. But it will be cloudy with more wind.

Temps will start to tumble Friday, which will feature more rain. Expect some showers as well on Saturday and Sunday, with temps dipping back into the high 40s.

We'll finally get back into the average range in the middle of next week, with highs expected to stay in the 60s for the foreseeable future.
