Thunderstorms are likely in western Minnesota for a few hours late Thursday night and early Friday morning. Localized strong wind gusts and hail are possible.
Showers will become more likely in the metro from the northwest to southeast. The steadiest showers will fall Friday afternoon and the early evening.
The weekend will feature times of clouds and sun from the Twin Cities on east and south. There will be more pure sunshine in the north and west.
There is a slight chance for a shower Saturday or Sunday, and we'll see a warm-up next week.
