New Summer Music Fest Planned For Coon Rapids

ANOKA, Minn. (AP) — A new summer music festival is planned for Coon Rapids next month.

The first Rum River Music Fest will be held July 19. The festival will be held at Sand Creek Park and will benefit HOPE 4 Youth, a nonprofit organization serving homeless young people in Anoka County.

GB Leighton will headline the festival. Swag and the Austin Healy Band also will perform.

Doors open at 3 p.m. Music starts at 5 p.m.
