New $2M 'Escape Lounge' Opens At MSP Airport

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A new place to relax opens at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport Monday. It's a new, $2 million Escape Lounge inside Terminal 1.

The company behind this, MAG, currently operates five of these inside three airports in England. This is the first Escape Lounge in the U.S.

From looking at the video, you can see why they describe this as a place for travelers to go and relax in "affordable luxury."

It includes: Complimentary breakfast, lunch and dinner items, full bar, free Wi-Fi, charging stations, scanners and printers, and a 50-foot window with a view of the airfield and Minneapolis skyline.

The daily cost is $40 when you pre-book online, $30 for kids. It's $45 if you show up at the door.
