Nebraska Fisherman Dies After Falling Into Minnesota Lake

PONSFORD, Minn. (AP) — Authorities have recovered the body of a Nebraska man who died after falling out of a boat while fishing on a lake in northern Minnesota.

The Becker County sheriff's office got a call Sunday morning that the fisherman had fallen into Many Point Lake and had not resurfaced.

Authorities recovered the body at 7:20 p.m. that night. The victim is identified as 67-year-old Terry Lee Ruch of Omaha, Nebraska.

The sheriff's office says the victim was not wearing a life jacket.
