MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Authorities say a North Dakota man plotted to kidnap one of President Barack Obama's dogs.

Secret Service agents arrested Scott Stockert in a Washington, D.C. hotel room Wednesday after getting a tip from the Minnesota field office.
