NB I-35W Closed This Week In Richfield, Mpls.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- You'll want to avoid a stretch of Interstate 35W over the weekend.

The northbound lanes are closing down at 11:45 p.m. Friday between 66th Street in Richfield and I-94 in Minneapolis.

Crews will be surveying the road for a construction project scheduled for summer 2017.

The stretch will reopen by 5 a.m. Monday.

Also, both directions of Highway 62 and Highway 212 are closed at Highway 169.

Crews are painting the Highway 169 bridge decks over the Crosstown.

Highway 62 will also open at 5 a.m. Monday.
