After Nat'l Puppy Day Push At WCCO, 8 Puppies Find Forever Homes

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- WCCO teamed up with the Animal Humane Society on Wednesday (also known as National Puppy Day) and it resulted in some lab puppies already finding their forever home!

According to Libera Carrie of the AHS, three of the four lab puppies featured on-air Wednesday were all settling into their new homes by 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The fourth puppy, Priss, is being looked at for a possible urinary tract infection, but once she's feeling better, Carrie is confident she'll be adopted in no time as well.

As for the Chihuahua pups featured Wednesday, five of the six have been adopted from the Woodbury adoption center as of 2:33 p.m. Thursday!
