Naked Man Breaks Into Fargo Church, Burns Bible

FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Formal charges are pending against a man who authorities say was caught naked at a Fargo church where he had burned pages of a Bible.

Officers responded to a burglar alarm at a car wash business early Sunday. They discovered a pile of wet clothing and footprints leading to the roof.

Surveillance video showed the man had scaled an outside wall and run across the street to the church. Officers arrested him there, where he had allegedly burned Bible pages in an apparent attempt to keep warm.

Authorities say the 21-year-old man was drunk. He was checked out medically and then taken to jail on suspicion of burglary and arson.
