N.D. Man Accused Of Stealing From Church During Service

MINOT, N.D. (AP) — Formal charges are pending against a Minot man caught stealing from a church while a service was being held.

Authorities say the pastor at Our Savior Lutheran Church contacted authorities Sunday morning, saying he had witnessed a man enter a private office in the church and then leave the building.

Officers found the 22-year-old suspect in a hotel parking lot a few blocks away and arrested him on charges of burglary and possession of stolen property.

Authorities say the man had stolen property from the church and also stolen credit cards from a separate incident.
