MyPillow To Donate Pillows To Union Gospel Mission

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- MyPillow is planning to donate 500 pillows to Union Gospel Mission.

The donation will ensure every bed at the mission will get a new pillow.

The company's founder, Mike Lindell, will also talk to some of the residents and share his story about overcoming addiction.

Lindell was featured as one of WCCO This Morning's "Minnesotans To Meet" earlier this year, and Ali Lucia reported that Lindell admitted to once being addicted to crack, which he quit cold turkey in 2009.

'I knew if I waited one day longer I wouldn't be able to have amazing things happen in my life," he said.

There are roughly 650 MyPillow employees, which includes the 250 who help with the call center.
