1 Dead In Broadside Crash In Murray County

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – One person is dead following a crash in Murray County early Friday morning.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, around 6:15 a.m. on Highway 59 two cars were involved in a broadside crash. The details of the crash have not been released.

One of the vehicles, a Freightliner Straight truck, was driven by 29-year-old Sahal Mohamed, of St. Paul. Mohamed suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the second car, 42-year-old Ler Gay, of Fulda, was killed. The condition of Gay's passengers, 18-year-old Ha Moo and 39-year-old Pen War, was not released.

The State Patrol is currently investigating.
