Shooting In Downtown Minneapolis Leaves 3 With Serious Gunshot Wounds

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Police are searching for a suspect after a shooting early Friday morning in downtown Minneapolis sent three people to the hospital with serious gunshot wounds.

The Minneapolis Police Department says that officers responded around 2:30 a.m. to a report of someone firing a gun on the 800 block of Portland Avenue.

Shortly after, a black SUV drove to nearby Hennepin Healthcare with three victims inside, two women and one man.

Police say two of the victims suffered very serious injuries, and one suffered serious injuries. All are expected to survive.
