Mug Shots Of 4th Precinct Shooting Suspects Released

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Hennepin County Sheriff's Office has released the mug shots of four men arrested in connection to a shooting that injured five at the 4th Precinct last month.

Until Tuesday evening, Minneapolis police had been withholding the mug shots because of the investigation.

Joseph Backman, Nathan Gustavsson, Allen Scarsella, and Daniel Macey face charges of assault and aiding a riot. They are accused of shooting five Black Lives Matter protesters on Nov. 23 outside of the 4th Precinct in north Minneapolis.

Scarsella faces additional charges because he is accused of being the shooter. Scarsella and Gustavsson are still in custody.
