MSHL Looks Into Eye Poking Incident At High School Prep Bowl

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A moment caught on camera during the Prep Bowl Saturday has gone viral online, and led to calls for discipline.

During the Class 1A championship, a player for Minneapolis North appears to deliberately poke the eyes of an opponent. Isaac Hennen, a running back for Minneota, had just been tackled and was on the ground when it happened.

The refs did not see it, but the Minnesota State High School League is looking into it.
