MRI Shows Right Foot Strain For Timberwolves' Bjelica

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minnesota Timberwolves announced Monday that an MRI done on forward Nemanja Bjelica revealed a right foot strain.

The MRI was done at the Mayo Clinic. Bjelica is not in the lineup Monday night as the Timberwolves host the Boston Celtics at Target Center.

Team officials said Bjelica will travel on the Timberwolves' upcoming three-game road trip, but is not expected to play in any games. The Timberwolves will hit the road to face the Toronto Raptors, New Orleans Pelicans and Dallas Mavericks.

Bjelica will be slowly reintroduced to basketball activities as can be tolerated. He has missed the last three games with the injury.
