Minneapolis Police Dept. Releases Its Take On 'Mannequin Challenge'

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The viral Mannequin Challenge trend has been lighting up the internet for weeks. Now, Minneapolis police have jumped into the ring.

On Monday, police released the video, saying they got some help from their friends at Franklin Middle School.

The video features "frozen" officers, including Chief Janee Harteau, handing out candy, fixing bikes, playing football and, of course, eating donuts.

"Let's just say that here in Minnesota, we are used to being frozen!" Police said. "How do you think we did?"
