Mpls. Police: Juvenile Suspect Arrested In Child's Death

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minneapolis police say they have arrested a juvenile suspect in connection to the death of a 2-year-old child Wednesday night.

On June 10 at 11:45 a.m., police responded to the report of a baby not breathing on the 3800 block of 30th Avenue South.

The child was then taken via ambulance to the Hennepin County Medical Center. Later that night, the child died.

The juvenile suspect is in custody and no other persons are being sought in this case, police said.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner will be releasing the victim's identity, nature and cause of death at a later time.
