Mpls. Police: Dead Body Found With Signs Of Homicidal Violence

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minneapolis police are investigating after a body of a man was discovered behind the East Lake Street Target Wednesday morning.

According to police, they responded to the call just before 9 a.m. on the 2500 block of East Lake Street behind the Target. There, they discovered the man's body, which showed signs of homicidal violence.

Police say they planned to interview one person of interest. The death is not believed to be random.

Details are limited, but police are hoping surveillance cameras in the area might provide clues.

The deceased victim has not been identified.
