Mpls. Police Arrest Suspects In Armed Robbery Spree

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minneapolis police arrested two men in connection with a series of armed robberies across the city.

Tyrone Lee Morris, 27, and Jerry Carroll III, 28, are charged with aggravated robbery.

Minneapolis Police Spokesperson John Elder says the pair is accused of a series of armed robberies from Dec. 12 through Dec. 28.

"These are people who weren't just doing something, one or two things to get a need met," Elder said. "It became more brazen and it became more of a habit, more of a thing they continued to do as time went on."

Investigators are looking into other crimes across the metro that may be connected to the pair.
