Mpls. Police: Man Shot Dead In Car In Cedar-Riverside Neighborhood
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A man is dead after a shooting in Minneapolis's Cedar-Riverside neighborhood.
Police say it happened in a parking lot on the 1800 block of Riverside Avenue Friday at about 7:20 p.m.
No arrests have been made, and investigators are collecting evidence and checking surveillance cameras in the area.
Police say there were witnesses, and are urging them to speak with them.
This was the second deadly shooting within five hours Friday night in Minneapolis. One man was shot to death and three others were injured east of Interstate 94 near Washington Avenue North.
A man was also shot in the thigh early just after 5 a.m. Saturday near Thomas Avenue and Golden Valley Road in north Minneapolis. Police say the victim is not cooperating with investigators.
