Motorcyclists Ride In Unpredictable 'I-Cycle Derby'

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- You never know where a new year might take you.

Take the motorcyclists who competed in the yearly "I-Cycle Derby" Thursday morning, a ride dedicated to the memory of Eddie James.

All the participants knew was where to find the starting line in Minneapolis -- and then they got new directions about which way to turn for each leg of the race.

The winner is not the fastest, but the rider who finishes closest to the average speed pre-determined for each leg of the race.
