Police: Woman On Motorcycle Killed In Crash With Truck

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A woman is dead after a truck and motorcycle crashed in northeast Minneapolis Monday afternoon.

According to the Minneapolis Police Department, a 56-year-old female was traveling southbound on University Avenue Northeast when a truck pulled out from Seventh Avenue Northeast. The motorcyclist ran into the side of the truck.

Police said the woman was transported to the Hennepin County Medical Center where she died from her injuries.

The woman was the only person on the motorcycle, police said. The truck driver is cooperating with police.
