More Snow Coming Ahead Of Thanksgiving

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Last week brought the first snowstorm of the season, and more flakes are on the way ahead of Thanksgiving.

Meteorologist Kylie Bearse says the forecast calls for snow Tuesday, with the southwestern part of the state seeing rain, possibly freezing rain.

The storm system will wash over the central swath of the state, with most of the accumulation (3 to 6 inches) happening north of the Twin Cities.

The metro area looks to see 2-4 inches, while the southern part of the state will likely see rain and a dusting of snow.

The forecast for Thanksgiving looks to be overcast with highs in the mid-30s.
