Moorhead Police Need Help ID'ing Body Found In Red River

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Police in Moorhead, Minnesota are asking for the public's help in identifying the body of a man found in the Red River last week.

The body was spotted by a boater on Monday, Sept. 29, and was later recovered by the Moorhead Fire Department under the train bridge near Memorial Park.

The man is described as a white male who stood 5 feet 9 inches tall, and weighed approximately 160 pounds. Authorities believe he was middle aged.

He was wearing a short-sleeved polo shirt, blue jeans and black Nike shoes.

He wore a white rubber bracelet on his right wrist that reads "Best Friends Forever," and a black rubber bracelet on his left wrist that has the acronym "TACL."
